Aakash Tablet – Why Should You Buy It?

The new sector of Tablet PCs has emerged, and masses are showing great enthusiasm at these new size gadgets. A range of gadgets are now available in the market ranging from iPad 2 to the cheapest Aakash Tablets.
iPad 2 without 3G costs around $499(Rs.25000) but the Aakash Tablet from Datawind costs less than $50(Rs.2500). iPad 2 with 3G costs $629.
According to the official website, Aakash (also known as Ubislate) is already sold out, but an upgraded version known as Aakash 2 or Ubislate+ will be available by Jan 2012. Cost of Ubislate + will be around Rs.3000 ($60).Unlike Aakash (Ubislate7) which is a student version tab, Ubislate 7+ will be for everyone.
Comparing Ubislate 7+ with iPad 2, the important differences will be a 700 MHz proccessor(1 GHz for iPad2) and a resistive touch screen( iPad 2 got capacitive screen). But paying only 1/10th of the price of iPad, these differences are not worth to be worried.
